CLEAR FROM THE START / SCOPE
A useful starting point.
Not the final word.
LedgerBridge is financial reporting preparation for outsourced and fractional CFO firms. It organizes a defined set of inputs so your team can review and interpret the results.
Not an audit, bookkeeping service, tax service, or investment advice. Reports are preparation aids, not independently verified statements. Human review and professional judgment remain essential.
What the demo calculates
- Revenue: the sum of rows explicitly typed as revenue.
- Cost of goods sold (COGS): the sum of rows explicitly typed as cogs.
- Operating expenses: the sum of rows explicitly typed as opex.
- Gross profit: revenue minus COGS.
- Operating profit: gross profit minus operating expenses. This is not cash flow or net income.
- Gross and operating margins: the respective profit divided by revenue.
- Revenue change: the change from the prior calendar month divided by that prior month’s revenue.
Money is calculated in integer cents, not floating-point dollars. Displayed ratios are rounded to the nearest basis point (0.01 percentage point); undefined ratios, including division by zero, display a dash. Charts are graphical approximations of the exact values in the monthly table and JSON export. Period margins are calculated from period totals, not averages of monthly margins.
Input boundaries
CSV headers must be id,date, type, category, amount, currency (any order). Use unique IDs, real ISO calendar dates in YYYY-MM-DD form, and positive amounts with exactly two decimal places, such as 100.00. Types are exactly revenue, cogs, or opex. Currencies currently supported are USD, EUR, GBP, and CNY. Each report must use a single currency; no foreign-exchange conversion is performed.
The engine rejects duplicate IDs, invalid calendar dates, mixed or unsupported currencies, unknown transaction types, unsafe text fields, nonpositive amounts, and malformed money. Limits are 256 KiB UTF-8 CSV input, 1,000 transaction rows, a calendar range of at most 24 months, and 1,000,000,000,000 cents per transaction. Refunds, reversals, journal entries, and arbitrary general-ledger mappings require a separately defined workflow; do not force them into this schema.
Each row must already be correctly classified by your team. Category labels do not create accounting rules. The tool does not infer completeness from the presence of transactions. Missing calendar months are shown as zero-filled presentation buckets with an explicit warning—not as confirmed zero activity. No statement period is confirmed complete.
What it does not verify
- Accuracy or completeness of your source records or classifications.
- Reconciliation to a general ledger, bank, trial balance, or accounting system.
- Cash balances, cash flow, receivables, payables, liabilities, or balance-sheet positions.
- Taxes, interest, depreciation, accruals, regulatory reporting, or accounting-policy compliance.
- Why results changed, whether a decision is appropriate, or future performance.
There is no forecast, causal diagnosis, guaranteed ROI, or promised time saving in this demo. The synthetic dataset is invented solely to show functionality. It is not a customer example, an endorsement, or evidence of commercial results.
The proposed paid pilot
The proposed price is $1,000 USD for a one-company paid pilot. The company, reporting period, accepted input format, deliverables, review responsibilities, timetable, and acceptance criteria must be agreed in writing before work begins. No payment is collected on this public site.
A proposed ongoing service is $1,000 USD per month, pending scope validation and a separate agreement. This is not an automatic subscription, an unconditional quote, a guaranteed offer, or a commitment to deliver every reporting workflow at that price. No guaranteed savings or outcome is promised.
Privacy and customer portals
The public demo processes imported CSVs only in the browser and stores no financial data. A private customer portal is a separate service requiring operator identification, security review, administrative provisioning, data-handling terms, and commercial onboarding. The demo is not an open enrollment path for real client data.

Your review responsibilities
Use only data you are authorized to process. Check the report against its sources, resolve validation warnings, confirm coverage, and review classifications before sharing it or making decisions. Exported reports are local files under your control. If a workflow needs accounting treatment or professional advice, obtain it from an appropriately qualified professional.
